Vampire (Japanese) Plum

Description

Vampire plums are a mid-late season variety that are cold hardy and productive. The fruit is firm, juicy and tender with a ruby red skin with hints of green. Best for fresh consumption, has a long shelf life and ships well. Bred in Ontario by Vineland and is a cross between Early Golden and Ozark Premier. Resistant to bacterial canker.

Requires a pollinator that must be another Japanese variety such as Shiro, Early Golden or Ozark Premier.

These are three-year old trees that have a 15mm caliber. Trees will be branched out and mature 15-20ft.

Fruit: Medium-Large

Trees are bareroot (not potted) and are available for local pickup from April 25 – April 28, 2025.
