Duke

Description

Duke is a popular and reliable early-season, highbush variety known for its high yields, large firm berries and sweet-tart flavour. It is widely grown for both commercial and home use because it blooms late but ripens early, thus avoiding damage from late spring frosts. Duke is an exceptionally high-yielding cultivar, with mature plants capable of producing over 20 pounds of fruit.

Requires a pollinator.

Zone:4-7

Plants can grow to be 5-6ft in height with a spread of 3-4 feet.

These are 3 year old plants  that are in 2G pots that will fruit this year.

Fruit size:  Large

Note: All blueberries require acidic soil to grow. If you do not have acidic soil, it’s best to plant with peat moss or pine mulch.

Prefers full sun.
