Description

The Northern Spy is another historic apple variety and is one of the most iconic apples in the world. Known for its unique flavor, texture and crunchy bite. Good for fresh eating, baking and cider production. It’s tart but also sweet with a hint of subtle flavors and notes that make it a popular cider apple. The apples have higher vitamin C  and potassium than most varieties.  It is a late season variety that ripens in late October, which helps extend your growing season. Cold hardy.

It can take longer than most apple varieties to come into bearing, and is more prone to biennial bearing.
