Hedelfingen (Dwarf)

Description

A top-selling commercial variety that produces glossy dark red cherries that are sweet and juicy and large in size. They are a perfect for eating fresh off the tree. They were developed in Germany and have beautiful white cherry blossoms in the spring.  This late-season variety bears at a young age and is very productive. This is a cold hardy option and has some resistance to early spring frost.

Suitable for zones 5-8.

Pollinator required, please choose another sweet cherry that blooms mid-late season such as Ulster, Regina or Emperor Francis.

Gisela 5 rootstock, will mature around 10 ft.  Trees are two years, have started to branch out old with a caliber of approximately 5/8″ at the time of pickup.

Trees are bareroot (not potted) and are available for local pickup from April 25 – April 28, 2025.
