Firestorm

Description

Firestorm is a new variety that originated from Honeycrisp, and has many of the same characteristics but with an improved darker red appearance. It is distinctively sweet, crisp and is very cold hardy. They store well and are resistant to apple scab and fireblight.

Pollinator required. Choose another mid-season variety such as Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, Gala, Courtland, Empire, Fuji, Granny Smith,  and  Crimsoncrisp.

These are 2 year-old trees that have started to branch out and have a caliber of 1/2″. They are grafted on G-935 rootstock and will mature approximately 10ft tall.  This rootstock is suitable for high density planting but is also vigorous enough to not require staking or added support.

Trees are bareroot (not potted) and are available for local pickup from April 25 – April 28, 2025.
