Description

Golden Delicious is a classic quintessential apple prized for its balanced blend of sugar and acidity creating a mild sweet and rich tangy taste. They are a versatile apple used for fresh consumption, culinary uses, cider, juices and sparkling beverages. The apples are slow to brown making them a popular choice for deserts and salads. They’re cold hardy and are suitable for Zone 4 and up and are resistant to scab, powdery mildew, and fire blight. Their attractive yellow skin along with their versatility make them one of the top selling apple varieties.

Self pollinating but yields do improve when planting another variety. Suitable pollinators include: Ambrosia, Gala, Courtland, Empire, Fuji, Granny Smith, Spartan, Crimsoncrisp and Honeycrisp.

These are 2 year old trees that are grafted on Bud 9 rootstock. Trees will mature approximately 7-9ft tall.

Trees are sold as bareroots (not potted) and will be available for pickup from April 24-April 27th, 2026.
