Honeycrisp – Dwarf

Description

Honeycrisp is an exceptional apple that is high in demand. Sweet, super crisp with an explosively juicy texture. Fruit is large and round with a distinctive crisp texture and white creamy flesh. Best eaten fresh. Good Scab resistance but has a shorter shelf life due to their high sugar content. Honeycrisp can be more difficult to grow but biting into a Honeycrisp is a revelation and an explosion of taste in your mouth and is well worth the effort.

We are offering 1 yr. whips. approximately 4ft in height which have been grafted onto hardy M9 rootstock. Should mature 8ft tall. Making them ideal for compact spaces or for high density orchards. Trees will require extra support and should be staked.

Pollinator required, compatible varieties that pair well include CrimsonCrisp, Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Courtland, Gala, Northern Spy, Fuji, Empire and Spartan.

Suitable for Zones 4-7.

Sold as a bareroot tree (not potted) in early spring with pickups from April 27-May 5th.
