Regina – Sweet Cherry

Description

Regina is a dark sweet cherry with large and firm fruit. This variety is more crack and split resistant making it a popular choice for commercial growers as they are easier to store and transport. It is a late-season variety that has exceptional flavour with its nice balance of sweetness and acidity. This variety blooms late which can help avoid early spring frost.

Ripens: Late July/Early August

Suitable for zones 5-8.

Requires a pollinator choose another late season variety such as Hedelfingen, Emperor Francis, Benton or Stardust.

Available in both dwarf which will mature around 10ft and semi dwarf which will mature around 12-15ft.

Trees are potted and are approximately 4 to 6 feet.
