Description
Ambrosia is a crisp, sweet, honeyed flavour that was developed in British Columbia. It has a mild sweet and refreshing taste and slow browning qualities. Ambrosia apples are versatile and known for its wonderful fresh eating and baking qualities, consistent with its parent, Golden Delicious. The Ambrosia apple is a compact tree, growing upright and bearing moderate to heavy crop loads annually. A top selling variety.
This dwarf apple is suitable for smaller gardens or high density orchards, but trees will require additional support and staking is recommended.
Pollinator required: Choose another pollinator such as Northern Spy, Granny Smith, Gala, Courtland, CrimsonCrisp, Empire, Fuji, Golden Delicious, Liberty and Honeycrisp.
2 year trees that are grafted on EMLA 7 rootstock. Trees will reach 12-15ft in height at maturity.
Trees are sold as bareroots (not potted) and will be available for pickup from April 24-April 27th, 2026.
Potted trees will be available in May, for $10 more per tree, subject to availability.
