Description

Ginger Gold is a yellow apple variety that ripens early.  This sweet and juicy apple also has a sharp but mild flavour that provides a slight spice to its taste. Ginger Gold will satisfy your desire for a great snacking apple and is generally considered one of the best early season eating apples. It is a good keeper, and can last several weeks in the fridge. Because its flesh is slow to oxidize its slow to turn brown, so it’s an excellent choice for any fresh-cut apple use.

Pollinator require. Pairs well with Courtland, CrimsonCrisp, Empire, Fuji, Honeycrisp, Northern Spy, Red Delicious and Spartan.

Ginger Gold is approximately 4ft tall, that is grafted on G41 rootstock. These are one year whips that mature around 8-10ft in height.
