Crimson (Royal) Gala

Description

Bred from a Royal Gala with an intense deep red colour and prominent strip. This popular variety is known for its crisp, juicy texture and mild sweet flavour. It is a versatile variety, great for eating fresh, using in salads and cooking and stores well which makes it one of the most widely grown apples in the world.

Pollinator recommended, compatible varieties include Fuji, Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, Granny Smith, Jonamac, Ruby Mac and Golden Delicious.

These are 2 year old trees that are grafted on G-11 rootstock. Trees will mature approximately 8-12ft at maturity. This dwarf apple is suitable for smaller gardens or high density orchards, but trees will require additional support and staking is recommended.

Trees are sold as bareroots (not potted) and will be available for pickup from April 24-April 27th, 2026. 

Potted trees will be available in May, for $10 more per tree, subject to availability.
