Red Bartlett

Description

Red Bartlett is a popular and interesting variation of the classic Bartlett pear. It has a distinctive red colour and the traditional Bartlett flavour but is higher in sugar making it sweeter. The fruit is prefect for fresh easting and canning.  For anyone who is a fan of Bartlett pears and is looking for something unique with exceptional flavour, this pear is an excellent choice.

Self-fertile, but yields increase with cross pollination. Zone 4/5.  Red Bartlett is a mid-season variety.

On OHxF97 rootstock, tree will mature around 15ft. Trees are 2 year-old whips and have started to branch out.

Trees are potted in 4G pots.
