Yellow Transparent

Description

This is a very early varity ripening in late August,  Prized for its near-translucent yellow skin, this apple makes for excellent fresh eating  with a sharp and sweet flavour.  Best eaten fresh off the tree or making applesauce.  Historical variety with origins dating back to the 1800’s.

Very cold hardy suitable for Zones 3 and up.

Trees are two years old that are grafted on EMLA 7 rootstock. Trees will mature 12-15ft.

Pollinator required, compatible varieties include  Zestar, Jonamac and Royal Courtland.

Zone 3-7.

Trees are potted in 4G pots.
